“Enthusiasm is excitement with inspiration, motivation, and a pinch of creativity.”

I kid you not, I was just sitting here writing thank you cards on my favorite notecards... (please don't look at my messy desk)

when I logged on to my blog and saw that Whitney over at Whitney Owen Designs gave Sassy Inspirations a little love on her blog! -big huge grin- THANK YOU WHITNEY!!!!

You may remember she is the inventor, designer, of the worlds coolest recipe cards!!

Now it looks like she's gone and designed even more super cute note cards...

AND THESE....(I might just pass out from excitement!)

I MUST MUST MUST HAVE THESE!!!! (hint to my beautiful sister-in-law that lives 2 minutes from a Market Street in Lubbock...perhaps you can stop by and pick me some up on your way to Dallas this weekend!)

It won't hurt my feelings one bit if you leave me and cruise on over to Wendy's site and hook yourself up with her fabulous new notecards!!! She's even got a lil Keith Urban playing on her site. (I met him back in the radio days and he is VERY yummy!!!) A lil note to my Lubbock peeps.. Whitney is an amazing photographer too. Whew, and I thought I had accomplished something when I made my first homemade pie crust.

Hugs

Its beginning to look a lot like.....

Ive been doing a lil Christmas shopping and today I came across these lil beauties...........

STOP IT!!! I KNOW!!! How cute are these and what a wonderful gift this will make for all the Red Raiders in my life. Ok, so you either gettin' your guns up OR your wondering if the creator of these precious recipe cards thought of any other university. YES, but because I love my hubby so much, Ill just post the link to Whitney Owen Designs and let you check em out for yourselves. I bought the cutest stationary from Whitney's collection, the last time I was in Lubbock! Check out Whitney's Blog too...she makes some of THE most beautiful and creative invitations, I have ever seen. WOW!!

Last night I went to a holiday open house and bought Baby K her first Tutu!!!

As you can tell she LOVES it!!

I also got her 2 of these ADORABLE!!! PRECIOUS!! bibs!!!

A lil visit to Jen's site and I learned that she is a stay-at-home mommy to 3 little girls. LOVE THAT! Let me tell you why I love her bibs, first they are so stinkin' cute and original I almost want to wear them myself. Hello, the whole teething slobering, drooling scene just got MUCH cuter in our world. They are VERY WELL made and she uses a snap closure instead of velcro!!!!! As soon as I get a photo of my lil angel wearing one of her new bibs, I'll get it posted.
Just go ahead and get ready, if anyone gets knocked up soon, there will be a few of these precious bibs in your gift from me!

Check out this SUPER CUTE pilowcase from Custom Designs My Mimi.

I met her last night too. She's super sweet and has over 600 fabrics to choose from. I cannot wait to see the pillowcases she creates for my lil angels.

Happy shopping, yall!!!

"Dancing is like dreaming with your feet!"

I'm pretty sure that if you look up sassy in the dictionary you will find a photo of my friend Shanda! She always wears super cute outfits, give super sassy gifts and has super sassy ideas (especially when it comes to shopping). I think that she hit the jackpot with her daughter's 10th birthday party.

It all started with these SUPER cute invitations. Yes, you read it right,
A ROCK STAR BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!
Isn't that a brilliant idea???
All the girls were invited to the Eyecon Video Production Studio in Plano to PERFORM IN A MUSIC VIDEO, starring the birthday girl!!!
All the party guests were treated to the celebrity VIP treatment! Stars with their names on them lining the hallway. A make-up artist to get them all dolled up for the camera. A "behind the scenes" look at how the whole TV thing works. Of course, the best part was getting to dance and sing in front of the camera. After pizza and presents, we all got to watch video debut!! SO MUCH FUN!!!! (They will be sending us all a copy of the video and as soon as I get it, I will post it)

LOOK at that guitar cake! I love the sassy fondant shoe and lipstick! Click here for tons of ideas on how to make your own using Wilton's Guitar Cake Pan. The cute guitar napkins are from Target and the pink zebra napkins are from Hobby Lobby. The inflatable guitars are from Party City.

My favorite thing about giving a gift is finding a fun way to wrap it. Rylee is a HUGE Hannah Montana fan, so I headed to The Disney Store to find some cute wrapping accents.

I started with this cute Hannah Montana bag. It was $2.50 AND made from cloth. For the price I would have paid for a paper gift bag, Rylee got a bag she can use again.
(They have Mickey Mouse bags too....Kendall's FAVORITE)

Instead of a card, I wrote her birthday message on these cute Hannah Montana sticky notes that I got for $4.00. TOO CUTE!
The "bling" is from Sweet & Sassy for $14.00.

The invite said to wear your coolest Rock Star outfit. Kendall wore her sparkly guitar dress from Get Noticed in Richardson, Texas. (Campbell at Nantucket, 972-664-9551) Annie doesn't carry kids clothing anymore but I am sure she can find it for ya.
I finally had an excuse to wear my "Party Like a Rock Star" t-shirt, from the fabulous folks at 8241 Ranch. Its a family company and they have REALLY CUTE t-shirts and tanks.

Kinsley stayed home with Daddy but I did see a really cute baby dress at Spencer's Gifts that said "Sorry Boys, I Only Date Rock Stars." (Not a store you want to visit with the kids in tow.)

Happy Birthday, Rylee. We had a rockin' time!

Speaking of rock star Birthday Parties! SosoBella Designs threw one for her little rock star! I love the rock painting idea. FUN!!!
